About Tina
Tina has been a ‘peoples person’ since leaving the womb. She sprinkles love & happiness wherever she goes
Brought up in South Australia by loving parents Tony (born Altavilla Irpina, Italy) and Abby (born in Essex, UK) she is very proud of her heritage. She met the love of her life, Jarrod, at 15 years old in the school yard and they have been together ever since. Tina and Jarrod have two beautiful daughters and a Frenchie pug.
Tina’s love of Ally McBeal & Legally Blonde, led her to law school and she was a lawyer for 15 years. When a colleague mentioned his upcoming wedding, Tina joked she would marry him and the rest is history. The celebrant work has grown beyond her wildest dreams and her reviews speak for themselves. Her couples fall in love with her & she falls in love with them. Whilst she will always love the law, she loves love more, and is now a full-time celebrant.
Tina's approach and dedication have been recognised at both state and national level. She was named a Top 10 Marriage Celebrant in South Australia ABIA Awards 2025 (6th to be precise), an award determined entirely by real couple feedback. In 2024, Tina was also honoured as Mentor of the Year at the Australian Law Awards, a testament to her natural ability to care for, guide and nurture others, qualities that naturally extend into her celebrant work.
Even the media love her! Tina was featured in The Advertiser articles, “Top lawyer quits dream career for love” and “Life After Law” where she spoke about following her heart, believing in love and her love of being a marriage celebrant. She was also interviewed by the Advertiser alongside other lawyers who have left the law.
Apart from people and her frug, Tina’s other loves are champagne and pizza.
